The Iviliim

A winged people, ancient and watchful. Their Candidates bear the Spheres of Arith, and their Litany has warded travelers against doubt and fear for ages.

The Jethgamin

Towering, winged, and relatively immortal — their age shows in scars and faded skin. Once corrupted by Locunduss, they remain the most feared power in the skies. Not all of them chose the dark.

The Islanders of Dokhodo

A seafaring people of the Westernmost Sea — fishers and sailors who fear winged ones, and whose quiet island becomes the hinge of everything.

The Southern Alliance

The allied peoples of the south, mustering airships and messengers against the Illindom and the Jethgamin alike.

The Illindom

An empire of corsairs and airships, blockading cities and hunting its enemies across the skies.

Written by Tilieth in ages past — not by Issica. Members of the Iviliim have used it ever since as a ward against internal doubts and fears. Its words never change; what changes is what the speaker learns about engaging fear rather than merely holding it at bay.
